DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN-TV) - A former Ranger Security guard is speaking out about a March 1 shooting at the Summit Square Townhouses.

Stephen Adkins told 2News he is the former partner of the two security guards who killed Dante Price.

The security guards, Christopher Tarbert and Justin Wessinger, said Price tried to run them over with his car and was trespassing.

"Mr. Price had been trespassed off of the property multiple times," Adkins said.

Adkins said he worried the situation would end in violence, and about how his partner would handle the situation.
