KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - At least two people were hurt Dec. 31 when five cars collided in Kettering.

The accident happened on Stroop Road near Ackerman Boulevard.  Investigators say a van headed east on Stroop crashed into a red sedan, wedging it between the road and the bed of a white pickup truck.

Officials say the road was wet at the time of the crash.  They believe speed is a factor.

The driver of the van submitted to a field sobriety test.  Investigators do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.
