Police ID Xenia woman killed in crash

SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) - A Xenia woman is dead and three other people were injured in a three vehicle accident in Springboro.

It happened Tuesday evening in the 100 block of South Main Street.

Police told 2 NEWS Michelle Marie Filson, 42, was a passenger in the rear seat of a Pontiac Sunfire that went left of center and hit a truck. The impact spun the Sunfire into the path of another car and was t-boned, killing Filson.

The other two people in the Sunfire, and the driver of the second car were taken to a local hospital.

Their names and conditions have not been released.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

Investigators said speed was definitely a factor. Where the crash occurred, the posted speed limit is 25 mph.
