BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - Beavercreek City Schools are wasting little time to convince voters to say yes on Election Day.

A pep rally was held at Beavercreek High School Wednesday evening.  It celebrated the district's accomplishments and showcased the cheerleaders and marching band.

It was also a way to show the community why they should vote yes in November.

"We've gotten excellent ratings for the last 12 years, we'd like to keep that, we are very strong, but we need everybody's strength," said Felicia Hall, teacher.

The district has a 6.7 mill operating levy on the November ballot.

School leaders say it will cost the owner of a $100,000 house about $205 a year in new taxes.
