MONTGOMERY Co., Ohio (WDTN) - Voters across the Miami Valley had their say in a special election Tuesday. The majority were school levies which are often a tough sell during tough economic times. Tuesday's results were no exception.
Here is our list of election results:
Schools districts:
Tipp City Exempted Village Schools: 7.95 mill 5-yr emergency levy - FAILED - 63% to 37%
Vandalia Butler City Schools: 6.99 mill operating levy - FAILED - 56% to 44%
Northmont City Schools: 5.9 mill renewal levy - PASSED - 68% to 32%
Xenia City Schools: Replacement income tax - FAILED - 73% to 27%
Bethel Local Schools: 2 mill renewal for permanent improvements - PASSED - 57% to 43%
7 mill replacement levy for operating expenses - PASSED - 52% to 48%
Tri Village Local Schools: 2.5 mills for permanent improvements - FAILED - 66% to 34%
And, in the "every vote counts" department: Jackson Center Schools saw its request for an income tax increase FAIL by one vote, 223 to 222.

City of Franklin - Emergency services - PASSED - 58% to 42%
