DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton police arrested Gary Rednour, 39, for the homicide of Kimberly Paradiso. Detectives said new lab results revealed Rednour's DNA on Paradiso's body.

A group of boys found Paradiso's strangled and beaten body behind an abandoned house on Warder Street in March 2010. Investigators will not comment on how Rednour knew Paradiso, but they said Rednour had lived in Dayton for a few years working for an independent construction contractor.

Rednour was convicted of homicide and tampering with evidence in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1991.
