WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN-TV) - Authorities arrested the owner of Moreb Wholesale for drug trafficking Thursday morning.

Sheriff Phil Plummer said Wesam Moreb was selling synthetic marijuana, a substance that was recently banned in Ohio.

"It's a dangerous drug and we are trying to get it out of Ohio," Plummer said.

Moreb told 2NEWS he was innocent and did not do anything illegal.

He is being represented by attorney Jon Paul Rion, who said he and his client believe the substance he was selling is legal in Ohio.

"We believe he will be cleared of these charges," Rion said.
