DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton city leaders voted Wednesday to expand a bike path near the University of Dayton.

The trail will continue along the west bank of the Great Miami River from Stewart Street to Triangle Park.

The project is valued at $152,000 dollars.  UD says it will contribute up to $52,000.  The conservancy district has a grant for the remainder.

Engineers hope to start the project in the spring.
