Dayton native wins NBA championship

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN-TV) - Norris Cole was a basketball star at Dunbar High School in Dayton before having a successful college career and winning an championship in his first season in the NBA.

Cole's Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Another Dayton native, Dequan Cook, is a member of the Thunder.

Cook and Cole won a state championship together at Dunbar.
