Dayton native named to NASA center spot

DAYTON, Ohio (DAYTON BUSINESS JOURNAL) - Dayton Business Journal: Janet Watkins, a former Wright-Patterson Air Force Base executive and Dayton native, has been named associate director of NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland.

In her new position, Watkins is responsible for overall institutional management and coordination of activities across directorate organizations.

At Wright-Patt, Watkins served as technical expert/in-sourcing and acting deputy director, Manpower, Personnel and Services from 2010 until her new appointment. Prior to that, she was organization division chief of Manpower, Personnel and Resources Directorate at the U.S. Air Force headquarters at the Pentagon.
