WILBERFORCE, Ohio (WDTN) - Central State Marauder football players took the field Saturday against the University of Dayton with their fallen teammate in mind.
21-year-old Kordero Hunter was shot and killed outside A-List Lounge in downtown Dayton early Friday morning. He was the teams right cornerback.
"I can't imagine what the football team is going through," said Precious Denim, a CSU student. "We are out here to show our support for the players because we are one big family."
Many fans made signs showing their support for the Marauders and Hunter.
Each player placed a #24 sticker on their helmet.
The University also observed a moment of silence for Hunter prior to kick off.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
