FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) - Wright State University issued campus wide crime alert after three students are robbed at gun point Monday night.
The incidents all happened on a walkway between Meadow Run Apartments and a campus parking lot. They were reported between 7:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
"It's getting a little anxious around here, especially when we have no defense," said Sandra Lewis, an adult graduate student at Wright State.
Wright State officials said the walkway is private property, but they have stepped up patrols on that part of campus. Fairborn Police are doing the same.
Still, Lewis said not everyone knows about the potential danger and until police make an arrest everyone should take steps to protect themselves.
"I just want people to know, who aren't students, to please beware," added Lewis.
Police said the suspect is a black male, about 20 years old. He had a slender build and was wearing a navy pea coat and dark colored covering over his face.
Anyone with information on the robberies, or the suspect responsible, should call Crimestoppers at 222-7867.
