DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton Police are tracking two men they say attacked and raped their victim.

Detectives were on the scene on Larkspur Drive off of Gettysburg Avenue in the Wesleyan Hill neighborhood.

The victim is at Good Samaritan hospital and investigators are looking for any clues that could lead them to her attackers.

Police used a K-9 to canvass the neighborhood.

They say the 19-year old woman reported the sexual assault shortly after 1:30 Monday afternoon.

She told them she got a phone call from a stranger, asking if her brother was home. She answered no then heard a knock on her door.

Investigators say two men forced their way into her home when she answered the door. They pistol whipped her, locked the door behind them then forced the victim into a back bedroom where they sexually assaulted her.

Police say when the attack was over, the suspects took the victim's phones and escaped through a window.

"When we arrived, we did find another set of clothing that would belong to a male. We found some other evidence such as a battery to a cell phone, her cell phone and a landline phone maybe a block away," said Sgt. Moises Perez.

Neighbors don't feel safe.

"Not only does it make me feel unsafe, it makes me feel unaware, you know what, I could walk out my door and see, walk out my door and see Dayton Police, the sheriff, the news. It's sad, it's saddening, it is," said William Spear, resident.

Police say they do not have a clear description of the suspects.

If you have any information that could help, call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867.
