DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton homicide detectives were called out Sunday night after a woman was found in a car with a gunshot wound to the face.

It happened in the 4400 block of Eichelberger Avenue around 10:30.

Two men were found inside the house and taken into police custody for questioning. Since then, Demeacco Jordan has been arrested on felonious assault charges.

The woman, identified as Letricia Allen, was taken to Miami Valley Hospital where she at last check she was in serious condition.

Sgt. Gary White, with the Dayton Police Department, said they are not sure how the victim and suspect know each other.

White also said they are looking into the possibility that there were other people inside the home when the shooting happened.

If you have any information that could help detectives with the investigation, call Crimestoppers at 222-7867.
