MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) - Police in Moraine are looking for three people who robbed the Walmart store at gunpoint Monday night.
Officers said the men forced their way into the store minutes after closing time. One pulled a gun and led the store manager and three other workers to the customer service counter where they took cash.
Afterwards they left on foot and police believe they got into a
car that had been parked at Murray's Place across the street.
"We're asking for help from the public to help solve it and
help identify these individuals, said Sgt. Keith Leach. "The
clothing's pretty distinctive as you see. We hope we can ID them
pretty quick."
This Walmart is no stranger to crime. Last year a woman was
shot in the parking lot and a clerk was robbed. Since then, police
said Walmart has upgraded its security system. They hope it pays
off in this case.
