URBANA, Ohio (WDTN) - An 18-year-old Urbana High School student was booked into the Tri County Regional Jail Monday after police say she left a threatening note on a bathroom door.

Urbana Police officers were at the school working on an unrelated matter when a student asked if they were there to investigate the note. Officers found the note the student described and the school was placed on lockdown.

During their investigation, police say they discovered evidence linking Brianne Castle of Urbana to the note.

Castle faces a preliminary charge of inducing panic, a second degree felony.
