Overnight home invasion sends man to hospital

    WASHINGTON TWP, Ohio (WDTN) - An overnight home invasion leaves police looking for answers as two victims recover.

    It happened at the Chesapeake Landing Apartments in Washington Township early Saturday morning just past midnight.

    A man and woman called police after another man forced his way into their apartment and assaulted the two with a pistol.

    The suspect fled the scene in what may be a silver Pontiac G6.

    The male victim was taken to the hospital with injuries to his head and face.
