BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - Beavercreek Police are searching for the suspect who robbed The Key Bank at 3294 Kemp Road, near North Fairfield Road, Monday afternoon.

Detectives say the suspect walked into the bank around 3:15 p.m. wearing a grey suit coat, a fake beard and sunglasses.

The robber walked up to a teller, said he had a weapon and demanded money.

Police say the teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the bank.

Witnesses told police the suspect climbed into a small, silver-colored car and fled the scene.

A nearby daycare was put on lockdown while investigators tried to find the suspect. He is still on the loose.

Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect or the suspect vehicle is asked to call the Beavercreek Police Department at 426-1225.
