SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - Acting on tips and their own investigation, a drug task force swept through eastern area of Clark County Wednesday, seizing 120 marijuana plants.

Two marijuana grow operations were discovered in the rear yards of the homes in the City of Springfield, and another grow operation was discovered in the rear yard of a home in Harmony Township. Officers estimated the street value of the plants at $120,000.

They also recovered 1993 Toyota Camry that had been reported stolen from Moss Point Lane in German Township in May 2012.

The marijuana plants were taken to the Miami Valley Crime Laboratory for analysis. Charges are pending lab results.

Detectives from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, agents from Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation & Identification, and members of the R.A.N.G.E Task Force participated in a eradication operation.
