Cable Re-scan for Time Warner customers

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - On Wednesday, April 20th Time Warner Cable will be making technical changes to their Dayton cable system that could affect a viewer's ability to view WDTN's channel on a digital television or "ClearQAM device."

Only viewers using a "cable-ready" hook-up (TV connected via a coax cable directly from a wall outlet) to their digital set will be impacted. They will need to go into the settings menu on their ClearQAM device and perform a new channel scan to continue viewing Channel 2 programming.

Time Warner customers using digital cable set-top boxes or cable cards won't need to re-scan.

Most viewers with newer digital TV's are connected via cable boxes or cable cards.

For more information please contact Time Warner Cable.
