BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - Some Beavercreek students got a front row seat at the Ohio Statehouse Wednesday.
They testified about texting while driving.
The 6th graders met with lawmakers to share their research on texting bans.
Rep. Nancy Garland then invited the students to share their research with state lawmakers during hearings on House Bill 99 which would ban texting while driving in Ohio.
It's a project the kids began last year at Main Elementary.
The students have already shared their findings with Beavercreek officials.
They sent their photographs to ReportIt.com.
