College campus approved in Middletown

Cincinnati State will soon begin construction

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WDTN) - Middletown city leaders have approved the funding for a new community college.

The project includes spending $500,000 to acquire five buildings on Main Street and Manchester Avenue to be used as part of . Cincinnati State's new branch campus.

The education programs would include culinary arts and hospitality programs.

The buildings being used by the new community college will include the former CG&E, First National Bank, and Bank One building on Main Street, as well as the Manchester Inn and Conference Center and Sonshine Building on Manchester Avenue.
