Woodland photo contest is developing

Judging complete, winners announced Saturday

Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) - The annual Historic Woodland Cemetery Photo Contest garnered over 150 entries from photographers of all ages.

Categories include: Forever Elegant , In Search Of Patriotism, Gravestones that Say It All, Nature Prevails, Open Division and Altered or Photo shopped.

The cemetery dates back to the 1840's and is one of the oldest in the country.

The 2012 contest  featured color, black and white photos capturing the beauty of this wonderful gem in our city.

Judges for the contest this year are photo-journalist Jim Bucher, 2 News Photographer Josh Ames and Rob     from Display Dynamics.

Winners will be announced and cash prizes awarded on Saturday, September 29 at Woodland.
