Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) - More than 2,500 walkers representing local businesses, families, schools and other organizations are expected to participate in the JDRF Southwest Ohio’s annual Walk to Cure Diabetes on Saturday, September 29th at Island MetroPark.

New this year is a 5K Run component! Make history and be the first to Run for a Cure.
The Walk is expected to draw an enthusiastic crowd of all ages, driven to support a great cause while enjoying an event that includes DJ, live music, face painting, trampoline, bouncy house, and food.
On-site registration begins at 9am at Island MetroPark. The entire walk will be approximately 3.1miles long, starting and ending at the bandshell. The Run starts at 10am and the Walk at 10am.
