Hot air balloon challenge this weekend

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WDTN-WBDT) - Middletown is the site of 9th annual MidUSA Ohio Challenge, a full festival featuring sanctioned hot air balloon competition events.

Enjoy Team Fastrax professional skydiving team, the best of regional musical entertainment, classic car show, arts and crafts vendors, a wide variety of festival foods, tethered hot air balloon rides, airplane and helicopter rides and much more.

It's all set in a beautiful 100-acre Smith Park adjoining the Middletown Regional Airport near The Great Miami River.

The event is Friday July 15, beginning at 4pm and concludes Sunday morning.
