Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) - The Sugarplum Festival of Trees is an annual holiday extravaganza that kicks off the holiday season for the Miami Valley.
Many handcrafted and specialty items, nutcracker sweets, decorated trees, plus more are open for bidding.
Sponsored by TWIGS, the Auxiliary of The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton, more than 350 volunteers have worked year-round to make this spectacular holiday event possible.
SFOT is Nov. 17 and 18, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Presidential Banquet Center, 4548 Presidential Way, Kettering.
On Friday it's the 'reservation only' Festival of Trees Gala and Dinner. (SOLD OUT)
Back for his 2nd year as master of ceremony is WDTN Channel 2's Jim Bucher.
Buch will be in a tux, which he says is worth the price of admission. lol
Also on hand is the Kids Holiday Shopping Korner - Kids can shop for brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, etc. All items are $2.
Elves are available to assist with shopping and offering free gift wrap.
All proceeds benefit the Children's Medical Center.
