WAYNESVILLE, OH (WDTN-WBDT) - Visit Waynesville for the Annual Ohio Sauerkraut Festival.

Enjoy more than 30 food booths featuring unusual concoctions like Sauerkraut fudge and pizza, or enjoy traditional dishes such as Reubens and Kraut Dogs.

Plus, with over 460 selected craft vendors, music, and entertainment, this annual festival is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in America.

Over 40 years ago it all began as a sidewalk sale when someone suggested to offer a sauerkraut dinner along with the sale. Just like that, an idea was born.
