DAYTON, OH (WDTN) - According to Dr. X's lead singer Ken Coggeshall:

"Doug Gudorf is the beneficiary of the show. He was the light tech for Dr. X for about 6 years, but I have known him since elementary school. We both grew up in Beavercreek (where his parents still live), played football together etc.

"He discovered earlier this year that he has melanoma and is receiving treatment at Ohio State. Dr. X hasn't played together since 2002. We swore we would never do a reunion but when we found out Doug was sick and could use some help, it was a no brainer."

So Dr. X will perform along with three other bands at BoJangle's, 1925 South Alex Road in West Carrollton, 8pm Saturday night, July 10. It's just five bucks to get in.
