DAYTON, OH (WDTN-WBDT) - Temple Israel, the largest and oldest Jewish congregation in the Miami Valley, will host it’s second annual Jewish Cultural Festival on Sunday, June 10 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The festival—free admission and open to the public—will feature popular Jewish foods, live music, art and accessories for display and sale, and demonstrations of Jewish rituals and practices.
“We want to show the greater Dayton community what Judaism is all about by sharing elements of our culture—music, art, food and ritual,” said Carol Finley, general chair of the event.
“It will be a fun-filled day with activities, events and entertainment for all ages.”
The festival will take place on the grounds of Temple Israel, 130 Riverside Drive, just across the river from Fifth-Third Field near downtown Dayton.
