DAYTON, OH (WDTN-WBDT) - The Doors of Compassion is a new signature event for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Miami Valley Region (RMHC) taking place on March 19, 2011.

The evening will begin with an exquisite dinner served in more than 20 private residences in Oakwood & Kettering and prepared by some of the area’s most elite chefs.

Chefs are given the core dinner ingredients and encouraged to use their creativity to create a culinary cuisine to remember!

Dinner locations are randomly assigned to guest pairs, providing a wonderful opportunity for a variety of community and business leaders to mingle and dine together.

And adding even more excitement to the night, all guests will be contacted the week prior to the event to receive their assigned dinner home.

After dinner, all guests will converge to share their unique dining experiences at the After Party Twenty One One at the outstanding Oakwood home of the Kolodesh’s who have so generously offered to open their “doors”.

An exhilarating Live Auction will also take place headed up by Doug Sorrell, providing a chance for guests to bid on exciting gift item packages all while raising funds for Ronald McDonald House families in need.

The evening is as follows, 6:30pm - 8:30pm Dinner Party in Host Home. Then 9:00pm – Midnight After Party Twenty One One.
