DAYTON, OH (WDTN-WBDT) - Although Dayton History at Carillon Park's new Heritage Center of Dayton Manufacturing and Entrepreneurship won't open it's doors to the public until August 20, Jim Bucher gives us an exclusive inside look on Bucher's Beat.

The opening of the Center will mark the largest single public opening of new exhibits and attractions at Carillon Park since the Park’s debut in 1950.

The Heritage Center will showcase nearly 1,000 rarely seen artifacts as well as the restored original Deeds Barn, renovated ARMCO steam locomotive, brightly painted Carousel of Dayton Innovation, the We Progress Through Change Theatre, Dayton made toys, plus the evolution of Huffy, NCR, Duriron, General Motors, and many more.

Please plan to attend Saturday August 20, Orville Wright’s 140th birthday.

Dayton History members may visit on Friday August 19th, for the special dedication and member Annual Meeting.
