Festival begins holiday season

SPRINGBORO, OHIO (WDTN) - The 23rd annual Christmas in Historic Springboro Festival will be held November 20, 21 and 22, 2009. Friday Hours: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm; Saturday Hours 10:00 am – 9:00 pm.; Sunday Hours 12:00 noon – 5:00 pm.

The 2009 Christmas in Historic Springboro Festival’s theme will be “Miracle on Main Street.” The festival takes place in the downtown historic district of Springboro on S. Main Street (Ohio State Route 741) between the intersections of W. Central Ave. (Ohio State Route 73) and Mill Street. Admission is free.

The Opening Ceremony is Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 at 6:45 pm and Christmas Tree Lighting at 7:00 pm. Parade will be Saturday, Nov 21, 2009 at Noon on Main Street. A large variety of craft and food vendors. Children’s tent with free entertainment/crafts. Zoo cats on Sunday.
