'Lion King' is coming to Dayton

Musical part of Victoria's 2010-2011 season

DAYTON, OHIO (WDTN) - It's official, Disney's Lion King is coming to Dayton. The Victoria Theatre Association just announced the Broadway blockbuster musical will headline their 2010-2011 season. The shows in town from June 14 - July 10, 2011.

First on the schedule is Blue Man Group September 28 - October 3, 2010 to the Schuster . This is the first U.S. theatrical tour.

Pat Hazell is back with his comic salute to the Baby Boomer Generation in The Wonder Bread Years at the Victoria.

9 to 5: The Musical with Dolly Parton's original hit song and her new Tony and Award and Grammy nominated score. The show is on stage at the Schuster Center February 1 - 6, 2011.

The Drowsy Chaperone comes to the Victoria Theatre March 8 - 20, 2011. The hilarious musical with great music and fabulous dancing is produced for the Victoria Theatre Association by the Human Race Theatre Company.

Elvis fans will love all his greatest hits in All Shook Up April 5 - 17, 2011 at the Victoria. It's like Footloose, Grease and Happy Days all rolled into one zany story.
