KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - A campaign to end abortion made a stop in Kettering Sunday, holding a prayer rally in front of an abortion clinic.

The religious group gathered in front of the Women's Med Center on Stroop Road in Kettering. The event was part of the 40 Days for Life Campaign, which encourages prayer, fasting, vigil and outreach to end abortion in America.

"I'm always pleased when people come together this way in a prayerful manner, in a peaceful manner to pray for one another and to pray for our nation," said ArchBishop Dennis Schnurr, a speaker at the event.

The 40 Days for Life campaign ends October 31, 2010.
