DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - An accident involving a semi truck closed down the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Dayton late Sunday.
Crews had to reroute traffic off the highway at Stanley Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday.
The semi truck jackknifed, hit a barrier wall, and then began leaking diesel fuel onto the interstate. Investigators are looking at wet roads as a possible contributing factor in the crash. Both Hazmat and ODOT crews were called in to help clean up the accident.
The driver of the semi truck was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
