DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Random Acts of Kindness week is a wrap. Last Sunday, I asked you to join me in the national movement and I wanted to share of few of the good deeds 2 News viewers did for others.

Marie Baughman cut her hair and donated it to Locks of Love. The De Graff elementary school teacher said it was in honor of two precious people in her life battling cancer - her student and her aunt. Marie fittingly held her act of love on Valentine's Day.

Here are some other random acts of kindness performed this past week in the Miami Valley:
The distribution of grocery gift cards
Flowers to friends
Cards for coworkers
Grocery cart returns for strangers
Paying for the person's meal behind you in the fast food line
Handing off a coffee gift card to the person behind you
Providing a ride to the post office for an elderly neighbor

Many of you also wrote that you believe random acts of kindness should be an every day occurrence.
