Trotwood Fire & EMS levies pass

TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - Trotwood fire crews gathered at station 72 on Little Richmond Road to watch election results come in. The fire department had two issues on the ballot, both 2 mil levies. Both issues passed.
Issue 19 is a renewal of a 5 year, 2 mil levy. It is to be used for EMS day-to-day operations, personnel and equipment costs. It brings no tax increase to Trotwood residents.
Issue 18 is a new 2 mil levy for fire department capital improvements. It wll be used to replace and maintain aging equipment.
