MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) - The owners of a Moraine gas station and drive-thru are cleaning up after a smash-and-grab break-in early Monday morning.

It happened at the Shamrock on South Dixie Drive around 3 a.m. when police said the thieves broke through the garage door using a stolen Chevy Blazer.

Surveillance pictures showed three people, two men and a woman, raiding the racks of cigarettes inside.

Police said they abandoned the Blazer and left on foot with the stolen loot.

Police think fingerprints they found on cigarettes and in the car will lead to an arrest.

"We're taking the evidence to the lab and also going to try to do some video we have for some enhancement," said Moraine police Sgt. Chris Selby. "Also, if anybody happens to recognize those people we'd really like to hear from them."

This was the second break-in here in about a month. In late May someone threw a cinder block through the window and also took cigarettes. Police said the crimes are not related.

If you have any information call Crime Stoppers at 222-STOP.
