DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Four area schools are closed because of an influx in student absences with the flu-like symptoms.
Dayton Christian has closed buildings on Dayton and Xenia campuses, today.
Officials said at one point 18-percent of students were out sick last week, which is higher than normal.
Health department officials told the superintendent the best way to cut down he spread of the flu is to have five days off.
Students already had last Thursday and Friday off.
School will resume tomorrow.
