Police say man zapped by stun gun dies

MASON, Ohio (AP) - Police in Mason say a man stunned by an officer's Taser gun stopped breathing a short time later and was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say 39-year-old Douglas Boucher got into a confrontation with police officers at a service station late Sunday and hit one officer in the head. Police say another officer used the stun gun to subdue Boucher.
When he stopped breathing, officers tried to revive him using CPR.
The Butler County Coroner's office says an autopsy will be done on Monday.
Mason police say the officer who was struck was treated at a hospital for a head injury and then released.
