DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The man suspected of shooting two people on Christmas Day has been arrested by the U.S. Marshal's SOFAST task force.
Shamar Davis was wanted on four counts of felonious assault after a fight broke out inside a club in the 100 block of Shoup Mill Road in Harrison Township.
Police said the fight continued into the parking lot where Davis shot his two victims and then fled the scene.
SOFAST arrested David Tuesday morning inside an apartment in the 300 block of Timberlake Drive, Vandalia, Ohio.
Davis, who is a known member of the "Money Go Getters" street gang, holds a concealed carry weapon permit and has had numerous contacts with Dayton police were he has been in possession of a weapon.
