A tentative agreement between Behr and union workers could be the deal that will keep 900 jobs in Dayton.
Union leadership would not reveal specifics until their members to hear details of the offer, but negotiators with IUE-CWA local 775 said this is the final offer-and if members don't accept it, the plant will close.
Union members turned down a contract from Behr in October that would have required members to shoulder most of the cost of their health care, after enjoying free health care in the past.
Union leaders said that while the new deal includes sacrifices, they've worked out a few options for health care that they think their members can live with.
