BK bather, where is he now?

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - One year ago, a man who called himself "Mr. Unstable", shot video inside a Xenia restaurant.

It became an Internet sensation, but tonight the so-called "BK Bather" is still looking for a job.

Timothy Tackett is the guy who decided to take a bath in the sink at the Xenia Burger King where he worked. He recorded it then posted it online.

Now living in Columbus, Tackett says, "No one will give me a job--even if it's not a restaurant. They think I'm going to be unruly, or I don't follow the rules, and everyone in the world knows that now."

Out of work for the last year, Tackett doesn't seem too upset by his un-employable status.

"It's a 50-50 thing. I enjoyed some of the--some of the stuff that's happened since then," said Tackett.

In August 2008, Tackett climbed into a large tub inside the restaurant kitchen around 3:00 in the morning as his coworkers were closing up the restaurant.

Covered in bubbles, he appeared naked, though Tackett later told 2 NEWS he was wearing a black Speedo.

After Tackett posted the video to his MySpace page, it flew around the world--attracting millions of hits, and costing several people their jobs.

Tackett said, "I still talk to a couple of them. Two of the employees were able to find work, because they weren't recognizable, they weren't in the video. But I hear the manager that was on shift is still having trouble getting a job."

Tackett won't share the outcome of the criminal complaint Burger King filed against him. He said he can only reveal that it was settled out of court. He took the video off his MySpace page under threat of further litigation.

"Even me doing the bath, I probably could have gotten away with it, which is actually scary, if you think about it, what else goes on in restaurants that doesn't get posted on the Internet."

Tackett is in Columbus now, working on his music career. He's a rapper, and goes by the stage name "Mr Unstable." You can find his work at myspace.com/mrunstabl3 .
