NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) - New federal resources have been awarded to a fire department in Clark County, announced Senator Sherrod Brown.
The Pike Township Fire & EMS in New Carlisle has been awarded resources for operations and safety by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency Assistance to Firefighters Grants program.
This is round seven of the competitive Fiscal Year 2011 AFG announcements. Pike Township Fire & EMS was awarded $73,307.
The Assistance to Firefighters Grants program helps firefighters and other first responder purchase protective equipment, vehicles, and gear, according to FEMA.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
