DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - From a business closing to music happenings in Troy, 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Friday, June 29, 2012.

1. A high tech non-profit organization out of Kettering, EMTEC closes for good Friday.

2. IN an effort to combat fatal and injury crashes caused by impaired drivers, state law enforcement agencies are stepping up patrol in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

3. New Carlisle, West Carrollton, and Wayne County, Indiana keep a burn ban in place Friday.

4. The summer Cool Film Series at Victoria Theatre begins Friday with "The Russians are Coming."

5. The free outdoor summer music series begins Friday night in Troy with The Bill Foley Band taking the stage at 7:30 p.m.
