DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - From ice to fireworks, 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Tuesday, July 3, 2012.

1. Dayton Power and Light will be handing out free ice to those without power at locations in Dayton, Eaton, Sidney, Vandalia, Fairborn, and Miamisburg.

2.  The Community Blood Center in downtown Dayton will be holding a cookout and ice cream social for blood donors today from 7 a.m.- 4 p.m.

3. Entertainment center Scene 75 opens Tuesday in Vandalia.

4. The annual Americana concert features patriotic music courtesy of the Centerville Community Band and Chorus at Stubbs Park Amphitheater tonight at 7 p.m.

5. Firework displays will take place Tuesday night in Springfield, Vandalia, Enon, and Lebanon.
