DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - From an unemployment report to fair fun, 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Friday, July 20, 2012.

1. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services will released monthly unemployment rates Friday after announcing last month that May's numbers marked the 10th consecutive month the state's unemployment rate had dropped.

2. An historic church in the St. Anne's Hill neighborhood on East Fourth Street will be up for auction Friday at the Montgomery County Administration Building in Dayton.

3. Friday is the last day, Activated Spaces is accepting applications for temporary retail and service businesses to open downtown Dayton. Register at:  http:// www.activatedspaces.org

4. Kings island is offering a special admission price as part of its season-long 40th anniversary celebration, with tickets for those arriving after 5 p.m., $19.72 Friday through July 31.

5. The Clark County Fair begins Friday; The Warren County Fair continues Friday before wrapping up Saturday.
