DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - From a governors' meeting to hot air balloons, 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Friday, July 13, 2012.

1. Ohio Governor John Kasich is attending the National Governors Annual meeting in Virginia Friday-Sunday.

2. Friday is the last day for anyone interested in running the Air Force Marathon to sign up with the marathon's charity partners, which is the only way to get a spot in the sold-out event.

3. The busy week at Welcome Stadium concludes with UD's annual 7 on 7 passing camp featuring over a dozen high school teams from the Miami Valley.

4. A 3-on-3 basketball tournament takes place at the Middletown Regional Airport in the jets hanger, helping raise money for area youth pay for summer camps and local athletic fees.

5. The annual hot air balloon festival gets underway in Middletown from Friday- Sunday.
