DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - From a local athlete in Olympic competition to a county fair's beginning, 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Friday, August 3, 2012.

1. The Olympic Hepthalon competition begins Friday with Chantae McMillian, who lives and trains in Dayton, taking part.

2. Early voting concludes by 6 p.m. Friday for the August special election, Tuesday, August 7.

3. A famed World War II Bomber, the B17, is on display at Wright Brothers Airport in Miamisburg Friday and Saturday. 

4. RTA unveils its "RTA on the Road" training bus at Dayton's First Friday event from 5-7 p.m. at RiverScape MetroPark.

5.  The Champaign County Fair begins Friday, August 3.
