DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - From a homicide case update to the night sky, 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Monday, February 27, 2012.

1. Mercer County Sheriff's office will hold a news conference to update a double homicide case from November.

2. A new U.S. Bank office will open inside the Walmart on Wilmington Pike in Sugarcreek Township reports the Dayton Business Journal.

3. Liberty Tax Service in Fairborn holds educator appreciation week to offer free tax preparation to teachers, and other school staff.

4. Due to rain, the Daytona 500 has been rescheduled for Monday at noon.

5.  The crescent moon along with two Jupiter and Venus  form a triangle in the night sky.
